But wait, there’s more. In addition to this problem, you also have an enemy who’s primary focus is to destroy you by any means necessary. Unlike you, however, he knows exactly who you are, your inheritance, and the incredible power you have inside of you. He also knows that you are absolutely clueless about this and he plans to see to it that you never find out the power and riches you have in Christ—for the day you discover this, you will know how to surely destroy him.

keep you in the dark, he lies to you and repeatedly tells you lies about yourself. Since you don’t know your true identity nor true worth, you begin believing these lies and falling prey to the one who hates you most!

unds like something you only hear about? Guess again. This describes every person who has not sought to understand their identity in Christ. The Scripture above states that “...if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature”. Are you in Christ Jesus, which basically means you’ve accepted Him as your Lord and Savior? If not, learn how you can receive Him into your life today.

w that you’re a new creature, what exactly does that mean? What does that come with? What happens to the old stuff? Answering your last question first, the “old things” in your life are just that—OLD. When you asked God to forgive you of your sins, He not only forgave you but also decided to remember your sins no more. Once you asked God to forgive you of your sins, He did, and whatever they were, it is no longer, as far as God is concerned. Since you are now a Christian, each time He sees you He sees the radiance of Jesus Christ—for you are a new creature in Him!
